Default key setting (set key default)
- The defaults for set key are on, right, top, vertical, Right, noreverse, noinvert, samplen 4, spacing 1.25, title "", and nobox.
- The key contains a title and a sample (line, point, box) for each plot in the graph.
- The key may be turned off by requesting set key off or unset key.
- Individual key entries may be turned off by using the notitle keyword in the corresponding plot command.
Change key location
- The default location of the key is right top in the graph area.
- The location of the key is changed to left top from default location.

- In addition, following arrangement of key location can be used. If 'm' which means margin is appended, key is drawn at out of graph area.

Draw the key in the horizontal direction
- In the case of default (vertical), elements are aligned in a column.
- When 'horizontal' is specified, elements are aligned in a row.

Reverse the location of the plot title and symbol
- In the case of default, symbols are located in right side and plot titles are located in left side.
- When 'reverse' is specified, the location of symbol and plot title is reversed.

Justify the plot title in the key area
- In the case of default (Right), plot titles are right-justified.
- When 'Left' is specified, plot titles are left-justified.

Control the width of the key area
- In the case of default, the width of the key is defined automatically. But sometimes it has unbalance.
- In following sample, the width of the key is reduced by 6-characters from automatic definition.
