Outline of the program

• This is a program for Buckling Analysis of 2D-frame by Fortran 90.
• Buckling loads and eigenmodes can be obtained by using this program.
• Generalized Jacobi method is used to obtain eigenvalues and eigenvectors in this program.
• Please note that it is assumed the direction of load does not change before and after deformation in this program. If you want to know a behavior in case the direction of load changes after deformation, it is necessary to use a different program.

Geometrically Nonlinear Analysis of 2D-Frame

Outline of the program

• This is a program for Geometrically Nonlinear Analysis of 2D-Frame by Fortran 90.
• Large displacement of elastic frame member can be simulated by using this program.
• The Incremental Arc-Length Method is used to solve the incremental stiffness equations in this program.
• Internal forces of frame members are calculated to use the linear stiffness matrix and the displacements without rigid body displacement.
• Please note that it is assumed the direction of load does not change before and after deformation in this program.

Analysis of circular ring under uniform water pressure

Outline of the program

• On the program 'f90_FEM_GFRMS.f90,' it is assumed the direction of load does not change before and after deformation. But water pressure always acts in perpendicular direction to the surface of structure. Then, webmaster corrected the program so that the behavior of structure under uniform water pressure could be simulated.
